The Svitsoft agency has been engaged in digital marketing for 12 years, and before the war we managed the largest digital budget in the real estate sector of Ukraine. Among our clients are such companies as Kyivmiskbud, Riel, DIM, PERFECT GROUP and other top developers. On February 24, business stopped. But we decided that we can do what we know best, namely - attracting traffic - for the benefit of the most famous volunteer organizations in Ukraine. Start the process. Creation of an aggregator site. We proceeded from the logic that Ukrainian volunteer foundations in wartime clearly have neither enough free time nor extra resources to promote themselves to a Western audience. And we decided to do it for them. Our clients allocated 700,000 hryvnias of charitable contributions to us - this is part of the funds that remained in the accounts of their offices at the time of the start of the war.
On the fourth day of the invasion, in the bomb shelters, we created a site C Level Executive List aggregator of volunteer initiatives , and with this money we began to attract foreign traffic to this site. Thus, citizens of other countries could see verified and official data and accounts to help our country. Every day, the project team of 17 people works on the development of the site, creation of videos for the YouTube channel, creatives, launch advertising targeted at 20 different countries, conduct work in social networks. The site is translated into 9 languages. How did the campaigns work and what were their results? Facebook The logic of choosing countries for targeting was based on the geopolitical situation and an understanding of which countries are more friendly to Ukraine and which are not. By geolocation, the main regions were chosen to narrow the entire territory to individual regions.
The social networks of the project were initially also conducted in several languages, but soon we realized that it makes sense to do it only in English, that is enough. The content plan is built not only on calls for donations, but also on explanations of how Ukraine is integrated into the modern world, what the world economy is losing due to the war in our country, how Russia violates human rights and international norms. We put special emphasis on the violation of human rights, because after a small survey among a wide range of our familiar foreign clients and friends, we found that this topic is extremely important from the point of view of empathy of Europeans. Thus, each post had a different "set" of countries to target. For example, if this is a post about Russia's further aggression on the world stage, if it is not stopped in Ukraine, then it will go to Poland and the Baltic States. If the post is only about donations, then it is Europe and the USA.
